Brookthorpe-with-Whaddon

Brookthorpe-with-Whaddon is a small village within the boundary of Stroud District Council in South Gloucestershire. It is in fact two villages straddling the A4173 Gloucester to Stroud Road for about one and a half miles. There are approximately 120 homes including several farms and businesses and two Churches, St Margarets and St Swithuns, although at this time St Swithuns is in fact a redundant Church in Brookthorpe. There are approximately 320 parishioners including adults and children. It boasts a pub, Fagin’s, as well as a Village Hall in Brookthorpe.
